With 135 clients CBS Interactive’s College Sports division was forced to streamline their school apps favoring speed over quality to meet delivery deadlines. The resulting experience was lackluster and one sport fans didn’t love. We redesigned the experience around real-time scoring, news, schedules, and live audio and video streaming and created a stronger school-branded app incorporating rich use of school colors and logos, extending to the app icons. Fans cheered and rioting was averted.
